Lifestyle : We all have our own Goals

It’s safe to say that in life we each take different paths and go in different directions because as humans we vary in the things we love, value and long for. Some may wish to pursue academics, others craftsmanship or art and others a sport, but I think we can all come together and say that we want happiness. Over the past few years of studying my degree I have gone from someone that had no clue to what they wanted to do and in all honesty just picked up design at University because I got into and applied to no other courses, even though in the end I highly doubt that I will be a “designer” I do know I’m not the office type and yearn for the time that I can travel, see the world and experience new culture. Although I may have not enjoyed my degree entirely I can say that it showed me my passion and that is photography and to be able to capture moments and places around me and that I experience.

I’ve always known the type of lifestyle I wanted to live however, to always have the ocean and nature close to me and to be surrounded by people that have the same values in life as me and sense for adventure. Basically to live a simple and wholesome life.

I’ve never been the type of person that dreamed of being rich or to live a luxury lifestyle. I believe that some of the least happy people have the most money. I love the ethos of living off the land and by the land and have always been a strong advocate for sustainability and conservation as well as eating healthy in the past year.

I can’t wait to see where this life takes me and where I end up with my photography, travelling and love, but I can say one thing for sure. I am going to live the life I want to live, not how anyone else wants me to live my life, and in one more year I shall depart on life’s adventure full time and start my travels around the world and photograph it every sight and moment. I hope to live my dream job one day photographing for surfer or surfing magazine maybe but in the mean time I will love my life with endless adventures and explorations with all the people around me.

If one day I am able to wake up in the back of a van after months of exploring with the ocean view and waves crashing out the rear window and my camera gear scattered by my feet, I know that life is just the way I always dreamed.
